Halika Travel & Tours is an eco-conscious travel company rooted in Palawan’s natural beauty and cultural heritage. With offices in Puerto Princesa and Narra—home of the endemic Katala (Philippine Cockatoo)—we offer regenerative group travel experiences that reconnect people to nature, community, and tradition.
We invite guests to slow down, explore deeper, and experience Palawan the Naturale way—from kayaking and hot springs to cultural sanctuaries and ancient trails.
Our name “Halika,” meaning Come, join us, is written in Baybayin beneath our logo, reflecting our reverence for ancestral wisdom. The Katala, our vibrant parrot icon, symbolizes nature’s fragility and resilience—and our role as stewards of both land and legacy.
Our logo features the Katala, the endangered Philippine Cockatoo endemic to Narra. Like the tarsier to Bohol, the Katala is Narra’s icon of biodiversity and ecological responsibility. This parrot, with its orange breast and curious eyes, reminds us that the forest is alive—and we are part of it.
Below our name is the Baybayin phonetic script for “Ha-Li-Ka”—a nod to our ancestral script and our heartfelt invitation: Halika: Come. Join us.
