Halika Travel & Tours – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Halika Travel & Tours, including flight ticketing, accommodations, transportation, tours, and related services. By confirming your reservation or submitting payment, you agree to the following terms:

1. Scope of Services
Halika Travel & Tours offers the following services, either individually or as part of a package:

  • Flight Ticketing (Domestic/International)
  • Hotel or Resort Accommodations
  • Guided Tours (Eco-tourism, cultural, adventure-based)
  • Airport Shuttle Transfers
  • Exclusive Van or Boat Hires
  • Standby Transport Services
  • Pre-arranged Catering or Restaurant Meals

Each booking will clearly indicate which services are included. Custom itineraries are available upon request.

2. Payment Terms

  • Full payment (100%) is required to confirm your booking.
  • Flight tickets, hotel vouchers, and tour details will only be issued once full payment has been received.
  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, GCash, Bank Transfer, Credit Card (subject to additional processing fees).

All payments are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise below.

3. Cancellations & Changes

  • Cancellations made 7 days or more before the travel date may be eligible for a refund, excluding non-refundable charges (e.g. flight fees, deposits).
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the scheduled start of the trip are non-refundable.
  • Requests to change travel dates, names, or accommodations are subject to availability and may incur administrative or rebooking fees.
  • No refunds will be provided for late arrivals, early departures, or unused services.

4. Inclusions & Exclusions

Included (depending on the package):
Flights
Accommodations
Transfers
Tours
Catering (if arranged)
Local guide services

Not Included:
Travel Insurance (available upon request)
Tips for drivers, tour guides, and boatmen
Personal expenses (souvenirs, snacks, etc.)
Government/environmental fees (unless pre-included)
Charges for overtime or extended service hours

Overtime Charges: Additional service beyond agreed tour or van hours will be billed at a minimum of ₱500/hour.

5. Travel Insurance & Liability

  • Halika Travel & Tours is not liable for any injury, illness, accident, loss, delay, or force majeure event during your trip.
  • Travel Insurance is strongly recommended, and may be arranged upon request.
  • You are responsible for your health, belongings, and conduct during the trip.

6. External Food Disclaimer

  • If you bring in or arrange your own catering or meals, Halika Travel & Tours is not responsible for any food-borne illness, allergic reaction, or other health issues.
  • Clients are responsible for ensuring safety, handling, and cleanliness of any externally provided food.

7. Environmental & Cultural Responsibility

As an eco-conscious travel provider, we ask all guests to:

  • Respect local culture, communities, and natural environments
  • Minimize single-use plastic and avoid littering
  • Bring back any trash generated from food or packaging
  • Avoid damaging coral reefs, plants, or wildlife
  • Follow Leave No Trace and responsible tourism principles

Failure to observe environmental guidelines may result in removal from the tour and/or denial of future bookings.

 8. Privacy & Media

The use of personal drones and unauthorized photography or video recording during tours is 

not permitted, unless prior written consent is obtained from Halika Travel & Tours.

All personal and financial information provided to us is treated as strictly confidential

We will not disclose guest data to any third party without consent, except as required by law.

9. Force Majeure

Halika Travel & Tours will not be held liable for failure to deliver services due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemic restrictions, airline cancellations, or government advisories.

10. Agreement & Consent

By making payment or signing any booking form or waiver, the Client confirms that they:

  • Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions
  • Agree to abide by local laws and environmental practices
  • Release Halika Travel & Tours from liability relating to external risks
  • Acknowledge that travel always involves a level of unpredictability
